Corallian Heights is a delightful collection of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes in Sturminster Newton, Dorset. Found close to a meander in the River Stour on a low limestone ridge, this picturesque area offers an historic town centre, well-regarded schools, and The Exchange, a modern community arts centre. The nearby Sturminster Mill affords a plethora of excellent walking routes and a weekly market provides residents with relaxed shopping opportunities.

With a selection of local, independent businesses housed in Georgian and Victorian shops, Sturminster Newton has one of the most picturesque shopping boulevards in the region.

Shops include a furniture store, a health and beauty shop and natural stone shop. These local businesses are complemented by the convenience stores, well-known chain stores and a pet shop, offering a relaxed shopping experience to residents at Corallian Heights. A specialist wine retailer is also found in the town centre, along with a post office.

Sturminster Newton is home to two markets - each Monday, a traditional market takes place in the town centre and once a month it also includes a farmers market. Both markets feature local sellers, with a selection of fresh produce, flowers, hand-crafted items and more.

Residents of Corallian Heights benefit from a plethora of outdoor spaces in Sturminster Newton, as well as an arts centre and a museum.

Outdoor highlights include Sturminster Newton Mill, one of the few remaining flour mills on the River Stour with more than 1,000 years' milling experience. Offering an insight into age-old secrets while overlooking stunning natural beauty, this mill is open to visitors and still sells flour produced on-site. Fantastic walks are also available in the area, including the Stour Valley Way, a 64-mile stretch of stunning walkways, and the White Hart Link, a 50-mile route that meanders through five North Dorset villages.

Indoors, The Exchange is a community arts venue built on the former cattle market site. The venue is a hub for live performances, events, and conferences that's been open since 2007. Sturminster Newton Museum is located in the town centre and this is a great location to find out about Blackmore Vale, the area around the town.

Despite its rural location, Sturminster Newton still offers handy transport links to Corallian Heights residents. The town is just eight miles from the A30, a popular route that connects London with Land's End in Cornwall. The road gives residents access to several well-known locations, including Staines, Salisbury, Yeovil, Exeter, and Penzance.

The town also benefits from excellent public transport links, with regular bus services providing local and regional routes. Walking and cycling routes are bountiful, and this makes sustainable travel much easier. The closest train station to the town is Gillingham, and this station offers regular journeys to London Victoria, London St Pancras, and Dover.
