Kett's Meadow Phase 4 is our new collection of homes in Hethersett, a large award-winning village with a great community spirit for you to join in with. Halfway between the historic city of Norwich and the pretty market town of Wymondham, with several schools, numerous sports clubs and a convenient range of local shops - this a great place to set up home whether you're a first time buyers or a growing family.

It only takes 20 minutes to drive into Norwich, home to a historic cathedral, excellent shopping and the University of East Anglia. It's a great all-round city for families to make the most of. Out and about Norfolk won't disappoint, with fabulous open countryside, the unspoilt beaches of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the north and the cheerful seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth and Caister on Sea to the east. Kett's Meadow is a great choice if you're looking for modern family living in a smaller community, but within easy reach to city life.

Everything you need for day-to-day living is close to hand, including a popular butcher and a Tesco Express. Nearby Wymondham offers a good range of shops and facilities, as well as a fantastic weekly market, held every Friday. Every third Saturday of the month, there's a bustling farmers' market, where you can taste the delights of Norfolk's famous local produce.

This lovely village is complemented by its lively community spirit and is renowned for its love of sport and fitness. In 2013 it became the first village in the UK to receive a Prime Minister's Big Society Award for its outstanding contribution to the Olympic legacy, and to sport and fitness in general. So it's no surprise that there are numerous sports clubs in Hethersett and the surrounding villages, including football, cycling, cricket, rugby, netball and running. Something for all ages and abilities.
For a weekend treat close to home, Norwich, one of the most complete medieval cities in Britain, is just 20 minutes by car. There is great shopping, and you can browse art galleries and antiques and curiosity shops. Day trips to picturesque north Norfolk beach destinations such as Cromer, Wells-Next-the-Sea, Holkham Beach or Brancaster are a must. In approximately one hour you can be making the most of a summer weekend and enjoying miles of unspoilt golden coastlines and charming seaside villages.
