Another attraction well worth a visit is the Penshaw Monument, a magnificent National Trust site which sits just five minutes from the development. And for summer days, you could make the short trip to Seaham Beach, or slightly further down to the magnificent Durham Heritage Coast.

The development benefits from proximity to the A1 and A19, providing easy access to the wider northeast region. It’s five miles to Sunderland, nine to Durham, and thirteen to Newcastle. Rail connections can be found in nearby Chester-le-Street, Sunderland and Durham, while Newcastle International Airport is half an hour away.
